Make a birthday card using a pretty sticker. For my hand made cards that feature a sticker, I use the colors on the sticker to help me choose the color palette for the card. The sentiment was created on my computer and printed on vellum paper. The card is pretty busy so it didn't need a lot of embellishments but added ribbon for the finishing touch.

For your thank you cards, try using craft punches. I used a decorative corner punch and a 1/2" corner punch for this card. The sentiment and border behind the sentiment was punched using a 1/2" corner punch. The card is embellished with a butterfly sticker and satin ribbon.

When you are making wedding cards, try applying chalk ink around layered pieces of paper. For this wedding card, I used a 1/2" corner punch and Martha Stewart's Cherish, Punch Around the Page craft punch to create the shape that holds the sentiment. I then used a chalk ink pad and applied ink around the edges of the different pieces of paper. The card is embellished with adhesive gems and satin ribbon.
