Free Handmade Card Ideas

Make a birthday card using several craft punches. I used a heart punch to create the embellishment and scallop border punch for the bottom. I also used a 1/4" corner punch on the sentiment. Don't forget embellishments for your homemade card ideas. I often use ribbon, adhesive gems and brads.

I used the same scallop punch for this thank you greeting and used seveeral other different paper craft punches.

Along with a half inch corner punch, I also used several sizes of a flower punch using it on coordinating floral paper.

The sentiment was printed on vellum paper and printed from a laser printer but you can stamp your message or use rub-on letters as well.

For this free idea to make a thank you card I used the scallop border punch on one side of solid paper and placed it over a stripe paper and then punched all four corners using a 1/2" corner punch. I finished off the card with a satin ribbon.

I used a bright yellow background and printed ribbon for this Easter card since these colors were found on the bunny sticker. The sentiment is printed on vellum paper but you can use cardstock if you don't have vellum paper.
