Paper card making ideas to make Fathers Day cards can come from sketches. I found an ebook that had examples of handmade cards that were pretty easy and quick to make so I decided to try it out.
The ebook has measurements, directions and images of the finished card so it makes handmade card making easier.
For me, handmade Fathers Day cards don't require a lot of embellishments so I made this Fathers Day greeting card with just paper. Think of diamond prints for Fathers Day card ideas. I used a paper pack called Garden Party so it had coordinating prints which makes this homemade greeting card ideas easier to design.
To make a Fathers Day card circle sentiment, on your computer, create a border just smaller than the size of the circle punch
and type your message inside the circle. You can add flourishes or swirls as well. After printing out the sentiment, punch it out using a circle punch. I use Fiskars' Extra Large Round-n-Round Squeeze Punch.

Here's a birthday card I made using 50 Card Making Sketches but instead I added ribbon and used a scallop circle punch that showcased my sentiment.
This Fathers Day card used another sketch from the ebook. The colors are a bit muted but since it's for a male, then the colors work out fine.
I used die-cut letters to spell "DAD" but you can use your cricut machine, stamp or stickers.
