Using a Cute Chick Stamp

Make a Easter card using stamps, craft punches and pretty ribbon. Discover lots of homemade card ideas to make Easter cards and other handmade cards.

I often incorporate craft punches for my handmade card ideas and for this Easter card idea, I used Fiskars' embossing border punch on white cardstock paper, a scallop circle punch for the image of a chick and a circle punch to help frame the chick image.

It's hard not to make an Easter card, or any hand made card for that matter, without ribbon so I used a satin green ribbon and a sheer yellow ribbon.

The chick was created using a stamp and I colored it with chalk ink and applied a light shade of green chalk around it. I also stamped an Easter greeting on the bottom of the card.
