For your Easter card ideas, use coordinating paper with stripes and polka dots. This handmade card making project consists of layering stripes and polka dot paper over solid paper. I stamped a chick image and colored it using chalk ink and then punched it out using a scallop circle punch. Then I created layers of different sized circles to help create a border. The card is embellished with grosgrain ribbon, a small punched flower and a gem.

I often try to reuse my stamps for my handmade card ideas and used the same chick stamp for this Easter card design. I used a decorative border punch to create the white strip and layered grosgrain and sheer ribbon. Again, I used a scallop circle punch around the chick and applied chalk ink to color the chick.

Make an Easter card using inexpensive stickers. I found a sheet of stickers at a discount store and used one of the image for this and other homemade card ideas for Easter. I used a scallop border punch on yellow paper and a 1/2" corner punch on the bottom of the card. The card is embellished with adhesive gems and ribbon.
